Pastor James C. Parker
Pastor James Parker accepted the responsibility of leading Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in 2020, carrying forward the vision and burden his father faithfully bore for many years. Under his leadership, the church has continued to grow rapidly while remaining firmly rooted in Apostolic truth and its mission to reach souls, strengthen families, and serve the surrounding communities. Today, Lighthouse Pentecostal Church continues to build upon its rich heritage, worshiping in a sanctuary that accommodates approximately 600 people while looking with faith toward all that God has planned for the future.
Bishop Jesse R. Parker
Bishop Jesse R. Parker came to Lighthouse Pentecostal Church from Bakersfield, California, where he faithfully served under the leadership of Pastor I.H. Terry. When he became pastor in 1984, the congregation consisted of only four adults, but his unwavering faith, vision, and burden for souls laid the foundation for decades of growth. In 1985, under Jesse and his wife’s leadership they then established Lighthouse Apostolic Academy with seven students. Soon after the church purchased property in Island City, transformed a former bar and restaurant into a house of worship, constructed a multipurpose gymnasium in 1996, and dedicated the current sanctuary in 2004. Through nearly four decades of faithful ministry, Bishop Parker left a legacy of revival, Christian education, and steadfast commitment to the Kingdom of God.
